Friends and family are welcome to watch you pull and it's free!

There will be food and drinks available on the day and a few things for the little and big kids at heart to enjoy between watching the teams pull the plane.

As the event is taking place at the airport and is 'airside' there are a few regulations you will need to adhere to before you enter the event precinct.

Spectators will be required to secure a (free) ticket to the event as part of this process.

Ticketing for spectators will be launched closer to the event.

What is the RFDS Plane Pull?

The RFDS will be hosting an inaugural Plane Pull fundraising event in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section).

Teams of 4 (minimum) to 6 (maximum) have the opportunity to pull an RFDS aircraft as far as they can across a 24-metre stretch of tarmac. 1 metre for every RFDS aircraft flying around Queensland every day!

This unique challenge provides an opportunity for your workplace, sports club, community or social group to pull together and raise vital funds for one of Australia’s most iconic and respected charities.
